By Rail
The nearest major railway station is Kalka which is at a distance of 77 km from Chail. You can avail private and state-owned buses from here to Chail.
By road
Getting Chail via the road route to Shimla is easy and cheap. The mountain roads are tricky, so arrange an experienced driver beforehand. Taxis are also available from Kalka and Shimla.
